Coachella Lodge #476 and the Desert Order of the Eastern Star #360 hosted the celebration of life for the recently passed, Sunny Ridley. The Eastern Star outdid themselves with the services, presentation and refreshments afterwards. Family, brothers and concordant bodies joined together to celebrate Sunny Ridley and support Wor. Coachella Lodge conducted an excellent degree for candidate Malcolm Gochioco. Many thanks to the degree team and those that filled in positions. The degree was well attended with brothers from Palm Springs Lodge and Scottish Rite. We welcome Malcolm into our fraternity and look forward to seeing his journey through Freemasonry.
The Coachella Lodge Hall Association is continunally committed to maintaining and improving our lodge building. Our latest workday in January had several brothers volunteer to continue work on the lodge irrigation. A new manifold was created and trenches dug to help water the lodge's landscaping. We appreciate all the brothers volunteering to help the lodge. See pictures of the workday below.

Coachella Lodge #476 started off January with a continued regimen in Masonic Education. Our Worshipful Master, Bernard Shannon, will be focusing on the Entered Apprentice degree for this year. For January's Masonic Education the Worshipful Master prepared a very indepth exploration into the heart and it's relation to Freemasonry. The Masonic Education session was well attended. The presentation by the Worshipful Master was informative and engaging. We look forward to a mentally stimulating year of Masonic Education at Coachella Lodge.
